Hiroyuki Abe Born February 9, 1970, in Aichi Prefecture. Started wrestling at Nagoya Technical High School and continued at Takushoku University. Later, joined the mixed martial arts gym Wajutsu Keishukai. On May 29, 1999, he made his professional debut in Professional Shooto against Yoshiyuki Yoshida, showcasing his strength in grappling techniques and sharp striking, quickly rising in the rankings. In July 2002, he faced the dominant Shooto lightweight champion Alexandre Franca Nogueira, achieving a dramatic KO victory with a left hook. After establishing his gym AACC, he excelled both as a competitor and coach, participating in various tournaments and cultivating numerous promising athletes. After retiring, he dedicated himself to coaching kids and juniors, continuing to uphold his team's reputation as one of Japan's strongest in wrestling.
